SELFRIDGES

TRANSFORMATION DESIGN & EXECUTION



Selfridges set out an investment programme of £300m to strengthen its position as the market leader in luxury retailing.  Andrew was appointed as Change Director to support the Executive Team in the design, set-up and management of a multi-faceted transformation programme.  Selfridges has subsequently hit record sales growth and continues to win ‘World’s Best Department Store’.


On back of UK success, Bisson consulting was invited to conduct an independent review of their businesses in Ireland and Canada.


RELIANCE FRESH

PROGRAMME LEADERSHIP

Reliance Industries set out ambitious plans for India’s largest supermarket chain and the world’s fastest ever retail expansion programme.  Andrew was invited to lead a launch team of 80 during initial design: global subject matter experts; training specialists; local market experts and senior executives.


The team hit an aggressive 6 month delivery plan, delivering a complete in-store operating model and the design of a training programme for half a million potential new recruits.


JOHN LEWIS

ORGANISATION EFFECTIVENESS

The John Lewis online business has grown significantly over the past decade

 

The old organisational structure had evolved organically but no longer matched the ambition and strategic direction of the business.   

 

Andrew managed a process-led re-organisation, positioning the dot.com operation at the core of business and in such laying foundations for the sustainable growth they are enjoying today.
